MANY Hoarwithy residents will have noticed the bright yellow box that has appeared on the outside wall of the New Harp Inn.
It houses an automatic defibrillator that, when combined with effective resuscitation and a 999 call for help, can increase the potential for survival from an otherwise potentially fatal heart attack in a rural community.
It is there to be used by all the people of the parish in the event of a medical emergency.
