We cater for any special occasion

Functions at The New Harp Inn

We cater for every special occasion in life; births, birthdays, baby showers, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, funerals, and everything in between. We need no excuse to hold your party.

We like to meet people beforehand and for every menu to be bespoke and tailored to your occasion. Every event is personal and we cater to you, not off the peg.

Indoors, arranged around our woodburning stoves, relaxed lighting and flexible seating we welcome groups of all sizes up to 60 for occasions and functions.

Outside, our alfresco dining and decking with its own bar, wrapped around by luscious planting for privacy and scented by the pub’s homegrown herb garden and fruits. Relax, celebrate and party with friends, family or work colleagues. Heated by wood-burning chimineas and gently lit with enchanting lights, dreamy days drift into balmy evenings as the sun sets over the babbling brook and gently rolling countryside.

Our alfresco dining and decking can be extended for functions of up to 120. We can roll out the red carpet and light the way to a marquee of your design. Decorated to your style, be that party, work or family, we offer seating with a private bar and dance floor.

Our standard licence runs to 11 pm Mondays to Thursdays, midnight Fridays and Saturdays and 10:30 pm Sundays. Alternative licences are available through discussion.

Alfresco dining and decking

Our large and well-appointed alfresco dining and decking sheltered by greenery swaying gently in the warm evening breeze seats 36 easily alongside the babbling brook.

Alongside a marquee, this is transformed into an outdoor bar and dance floor open to the warm sunshine yet sheltered from the breeze for functions from births, birthdays, baby showers, engagements, weddings, christenings, anniversaries and funerals to everything in between, catering for up to 120 guests.

Corporate hospitality

Our chefs have worked extensively for many years in corporate hospitality, collecting plaudits on the way, and understand the pressure you are under to deliver an exceptional event at a fair price.

Our front of house staff understands the attention to detail needed, the prior preparation required and the ability to be flexible and deal with the unexpected calmly and resourcefully to deliver a magnificent feast, a perfect atmosphere and an entertaining event to remember.

Groups and clubs
